He tried to ignore his blush, especially when Atem mentioned he would have to check it out later. He knew exactly why he was going to 'check it out' later. But he cleared his throat and took a bite of the fruit salad, a little bit of juice collecting on his lips.

"Though I'm sure you don't need any… Inspirations." He said, raising an eyebrow at him.

Another soft chuckle was the answer. He had successfully made those pretty pale cheeks even prettier with added color. He couldn't help himself, aibou was just too cute when he was pouting and blushing like that. He'd still have to sneak peeks as Yugi is reading though, see what has him flustered and use it in the bedroom. For now, he showed mercy and focused on eating.

"I'll make sure to check it out next then."

It was hard, to understand what to do and how to feel. He was a prince, but he was raised human and had a simple life. He wasn't cut out for the royal life, especially since he was only half fae. How could he have any sort of authority or anything of that sort? It simply wasn't in his nature. At least not in this life.

But Atem was right, it was a pressure he was putting on himself. No one had outright said anything, it was just his inner fears, his self doubt, talking. Oberon wasn't forcing him to do anything, he just felt the sense of responsibility falling on his lap.

"You're right." He said softly. "It's just difficult. I still don't think I get the whole pomp and circumstance, talking to nobility is just weird. I'm just me, nothing special after all." He said and let out a half laugh. But he was quiet for a moment.

"Will you go with me next time?" He asked, looking up at him. Atem always comforted him, made him feel more at ease.

They were the same where it mattered, in the soul. Everything else didn't matter at all. The prince lived and tragically was murdered thousands of years ago. Now he was reborn into his beloved partner. His partner who was even more selfless than the prince that came before him. Even more fearless than the prince, even more noble he'd dare say.

The prince back then cared for his people for a certainty. But he was out of the fae realm and with him more often than not. Never once did he let anyone's perception of him slow him down. But his partner now had faced so many dangers and not just hunters. People jacked up on the power that addictive darkness gave. People who put his very soul was on the line. And he did it all without hesitation. Plenty of fear, yes, but still he bravely pushed through it.

He knew for a while that he had fallen for Yugi, not because of who he had been. But because of who he was now and he was certain others would too if they saw the true him.

"I assure you partner, you're more than enough. Let them see you and admiration will follow."

anyways back to my regular posting, has anyone done a BBC Merlin!Phaidei AU yet? I know it doesn’t line up exactly in terms of personality but I rewatched some clips from the show tonight and that’s all I could think about

wille's birthday will be on season 3 and its gonna be a angsty one (theory)

this is me btw:

so i was watching (again) the trailer and one thing that is bothering me very much is how wille is NEVER staring at simon, which, IS WEIRD because that boy literally DROOLS over him and it doesnt sit right with me, right?

and so to me, is weird that in this scene 👇🏻 they are that far apart and they seem tense

i think it paralells a lot to wille in the car with his mom in s1 and IT IS SCARING ME

especially because we have that quote in the trailer of wille saying "everything you do now affects me and the royal family"

but my point here is, the first photo, they are in suits, probably going to the castle, and i know there's rumours about a possible birthday, and since we have this scene of wille throwing presents on the floor, i assume its his

and the reason i think it might be angsty is because we have this quote of kristina saying she cant have more of "these" scandals

by "these" scandals she definitely means wille and simon and/or the hatred between wille and august.

so maybe its wille's birthday, and his mom sets something up for him at the palace, and since simon is officially his boyfriend, maybe he's expected there but kristina doesnt want him there, and makes wille sort of "control" simon in order for him to act like he's supposed to or something

and wille hates being controlled like this, so he probably snaps and thats when he throws the presents on the floor.

but later i assume he and simon are okay, because this photo kinda looks like they're in suits and probably they talked it out or something (although it also kinda looks like hilleskra so idk)

023, the back of an empty bus (agent-scotch)

It was dusk when Tanner finally woke up. The ache at the back of his head was making him nauseous and it was taking far too long for his eyes to adjust to the darkening sepia tone that had settled around him.

The dawning realization of being in an abandoned bus came along with the fact that he was tied firmly to the back seat with thick zip ties. Panic spiked in his chest, as he tested just how firmly his bonds were holding.

The windows of the bus were too dirty to get a read on where he might be, and there was little to no noise outside. All he could do now was sit and wait.

clay is an anthro bear with suppressed fire magical abilities. their magic (as old as they are) hasn’t made itself available in way that they can use reliably. think of it like having an extra arm but not being able to move it or grab with it or anything. they can FEEL it but they cant DO anything with it

instead of studying in a prestigious school for the Magically Gifted, they act as guard for someone for is (gloam, they/them). their relationship is a bit strained due to clay’s position as a metaphorical footrest for this person. it isnt exactly a fun job. they follow gloam everywhere they go, wait outside of doors and, if asked, will even do chores for them. it gets boring (and irritating) pretty fast. clay is younger than gloam (maybe half a decade) and despite growing up in the same generation they are miles apart socially. clay cant related to gloam’s struggles about expectations of them and gloam cant related to how clay is seen as nothing more than a tool and shield

eventually, due to gloam losing their magic and (possibly) clay unlocking theirs, they begin to understand each other a bit more. i just want to be able to draw these two happy tbh <33 idiots, the both of them.
